New Investment: Horst Precision Machine

We are pleased to announce our first investment in Canada!

Our investment is in Horst Precision Machine, a well-established industrial company based in Kamloops, British Columbia, approximately 350 km northeast of Vancouver. Since 1989, the company has been delivering specialised solutions to some of Canada’s most important industries.

As part of the transaction, Kjøller has acquired a 44% ownership stake in Horst Precision Machine. The remaining majority is owned by our local partner and co-investor, who will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations and its continued development.

The company specialises in advanced precision machining, manufacturing, steel fabrication, and rapid repair and maintenance services for industries including mining, forestry, and the pulp and paper sector.

We chose to invest in the company because we believe strongly in the market, see significant untapped potential, and want to build on nearly four decades of solid foundations and proven performance.

With this investment, we continue expanding our industrial portfolio. Kjøller is now a co-owner of five international industrial companies across the United Kingdom and Canada. Together, these businesses employ hundreds of people and supply critical products and services to sectors including transportation, automotive, wastewater, data centres, and nuclear power.

Our portfolio now consists of 34 companies across 9 countries.
