Year in review: 2025

2025 was a solid year for Kjøller, during which we received 10,487 investment applications - an increase of more than 778% compared to the previous year.
This resulted in 10 new investments as well as several follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies.
In addition, we completed 11 exits and goodbyes, along with several real estate transactions involving the purchase and sale of properties.
The numbers are noteworthy in themselves, but the year was to a large extent defined by the people we worked with.
We greatly value the collaboration we have had with entrepreneurs and partners throughout the year. The dialogue, ambitions and shared commitment to building solid and sustainable businesses have been a key driving force and a strong foundation for value creation.
Entrepreneurship is rarely frictionless. Ongoing challenges arise that require both decisiveness and perseverance. For that reason, we have great respect for the entrepreneurs who maintain direction and accountability, even when headwinds are strong and difficult decisions must be made.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to creating companies, jobs and long-term value for society. At Kjøller, we will continue to work to support you as well as we can.
The year was also characterised by increased international activity compared to previous years. This included investments in England, Italy and the United Arab Emirates, as well as our first investments in Africa, with Gambia and Uganda.
Although Kjøller has a strong Danish foundation, international investments will play an even greater role in 2026. In particular, the African continent offers interesting opportunities across multiple sectors.
With a historically high level of available capital, Kjøller moves into 2026 with the same long-term approach as before: investing in ambitious entrepreneurs and companies with clear objectives, strong execution and the potential for lasting value creation.
