New investment: Mujuni Ventures

We recently made our first investment in Africa.
We are pleased to share that we are now investors in MUJUNI VENTURES LTD, a dairy company in Kampala, Uganda, that sources and processes milk and yoghurt for more than 10,000 consumers every day and employs over 120 people.
The company was established in 2021 but already handles 10 million litres of milk per year and is on a clear upward growth trajectory.
Our investment will be used to increase production capacity and strengthen Mujuni’s market position, enabling the company to scale further.
Africa has been a strategic focus area for us since the summer. We see the continent as overlooked by many investors – often because it feels distant or unfamiliar – yet the potential is enormous. For that reason, we do not expect this to be our last investment on the African continent.
Where we previously invested primarily in Denmark, almost half of our capital today goes to international companies. We are already active in England, Germany, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, India – and now also Uganda.
